Phillies Bridge Farm Project offers practical apprenticeships in sustainable agriculture and farm-based environmental education. We are a non-profit educational working farm growing diversified vegetables on five acres of a 65-acre property between Gardiner and New Paltz, NY. Our produce is utilized in our on-site education programs and is distributed to our 150-member CSA, local restaurants, and area low-income families. Our education programs offer school children, local youth, CSA members, and the general public opportunities to learn about and participate in sustainable local food production, in keeping with the farm’s mission.
Conveniently located, Phillies Bridge Farm Project is five miles off of New York Thruway exit number 18, a five-minute drive (or 20-minute bike ride on the rail trail) from the college town of New Paltz, and a ten-minute drive to two mountain nature preserves featuring lakes, ponds, streams, hiking, biking, world-class mountain climbing, and cross-country ski trails.
