Description
You can eat them; you can rub them on your skin. Cucumbers are rich in water content and vitamin E, growing well in the hot days of spring and summer. They're good for hydration, keeping you "cool as a ..." and cucumbers are also credited to cleanse the liver, aid in digestion, and benefit those with diabetes and headaches. Those same vitamins and minerals also make the cucumber so soothing on the skin.
Preparation
Both peel (make sure it's organic and unwaxed) and seeds are edible, but they don't store long, unless they're pickled, so get'em while it's hot.
