4 – 12 years old

Fun and learning come alive at Phillies Bridge Farm Camp! Spend time getting your hands in the dirt, picking fresh veggies and connecting to the land. Daily camp activities include hands-on gardening, visits with the farm animals, cooperative games, music, storytelling, farm-based arts & crafts, and so much more. Click here to see a sample daily camp schedule.

Campers will also spend time exploring our 1.5 mile Nature Trail through 45 acres of woods and wetlands learning plant identification, practicing animal tracking, and other wilderness skills such as shelter construction.

In addition to daily farm activities at camp, each themed session brings new opportunities for exploration and fun!  Each session will be a little bit different, with developmentally appropriate hands-on projects and crafts, so please feel free to enjoy as many sessions as you wish!

We have a low ratio of one camp counselor for 12 campers, and oftentimes it is less. This ensures your child gets all the attention he or she needs.

Below are the 2018 themed camps.

FULL! Session 1 – School’s out! Fun in the Sun! This is a one-week session in which we will let loose and enjoy fun activities while exploring an important food source for plants – the sun!  We will investigate solar clocks, solar ovens, make sun catchers, and more.
FULL! Session 2 – Art Camp: In this two-week session, campers will explore different artists, media, and techniques as we create works that help us to observe and interpret farm life.
FULL! Session 3 – STEAM Discovery Camp: This two-week session will focus on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) principles on the farm.  Campers will participate in exciting hands-on science experiments and use their creativity to construct gardens, animal habitats, and more.  Fun for all ages!
FULL! Session 4 – Nature Camp: Campers will begin this two-week session by creating their own nature journals, and then continue the fun by observing and playing in the natural expanses around the farm.  We will explore and identify common wild plants and animals that we encounter while we walk the trails, and learn ecology concepts relating to the inter-connectivity of life around and on the farm.
FULL! Session 5 – Around the World: The final two-week session of our season will encompass an exploration of cuisine and farming techniques from around the world, as we explore music, create art, and prepare food from different continents.  Hands-on fun for all ages!
