1,000 Hours Outside

Join us in 2022 for the 1,000 hours outside challenge!

This challenge, originally based off replacing the number of hours children spend in front a screen with outside time, is a great goal for the whole family in 2022.

There is a lot of information on the challenge on google, facebook, pinterest, and many other social media outlets.  You can download a tracker here, and email us your results each month to play along!  We will post them here on this page, and even if you fail, you WIN, because time spent in nature is never wasted.

Don’t know where to get started? How about our Nature Trail? The 1.5 mile loop is a great way to start your hours outside, and is open to the public.  Join one of our after school programs or our summer camp for even more outside time!
