There are several activities to choose from:
Greenhouse and farmed fields
Gardens: education (edibles), discovery (sensory hands-on), and herbs
Composting
Chickens and goats (in season)
Nature trail hike
Pick-your-own veggies
Tasting menu – small plates
Farm-to-table meal with seasonal vegetables and local wine, beer or cider
Group size: minimum 10 / maximum 60
How long does the outing take?
We can create a short one-hour introductory outing or a more in-depth exploration four-hour journey. We are flexible and will customize to any length of time as per your group’s interests.
When is the best time to visit?
June through October is the best time to visit as this is the period when the farm displays the most vibrant plants.
Where is the farm?
Our farm, conveniently located between New Paltz and Gardiner, NY, includes six acres of organically-grown vegetables and berries, enchanting gardens, greenhouse, an historic farmstead, farm animals, inspiring views of the Shawangunk Ridge, a nature trail that winds through forest and wetland, and a large pavilion to protect against the elements for your picnic or lecture.
