We believe that all people have a right to healthy and nutritious food. Each year, we offer a limited number of sliding scale shares in order to make our CSA accessible to community members who are not able to afford a share at full price.
Our Sliding Scale CSA is now open for the 2025 growing season. Please click the button below to complete an application. Please email slc@philliesbridge.org with any questions.

The season is 23 weeks long and weekly CSA pickups begin in June 2025. We will announce the specific date in mid to late May, depending on the season. We offer two share sizes: our big share is designed for a 3-4 person family or 1-2 hungry vegetarians. Our small share is designed for 1 person, or 2 people who don’t eat as many vegetables. All shareholders have access to the pick-your-own field Monday-Saturday during daylight hours. Learn more about our CSA at PBFP.

Solidarity Shares
We also offer a very limited number of Solidarity Shares at zero cost to support those most closely impacted by state violence. This share is intended to extend additional support (but is not limited to) our BIPOC, immigrant, refugee, communities as well as others who persistently experience food apartheid* and do not have access to grocery stores with fresh produce in their neighborhood.
CSA is a SNAP
Sliding Scale CSA members who pay weekly using their EBT card get 70% off their share! The discount is available first-come, first-serve and made possible by our farm’s participation in CSA is a SNAP, a program of the Hudson Valley CSA Coalition, facilitated by Glynwood, and supported by the Gus Schumacher Nutrition Incentive Grant Program grant no. 2023-70415-41205 from the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture. For more information, please send an email to foodjustice@philliesbridge.org.

Funding for this program is also supported by generous grants made by Farm Fresh Food Initiative of the Community Foundation of the Hudson Valley, The Hudson Valley CSA Coalition, Ulster County’s Non-Profit Recovery and Resilience Grant, and Anonymous.

*Food apartheid, as opposed to “food deserts,” refers to a community’s lack of access to healthy, local, and nutritious food as brought on by systemic inequality. Read more about food apartheid HERE. Read more about systemic inequality HERE
