Phillies Bridge Farm Project’s education mission is all encompassing. We have something for everyone, and it is our hope that participants will learn new skills and grow to love the land we call home here at the farm.
The farm serves as an outdoor classroom where learning comes alive for both children and adults through experiential learning. Click any of the links below to learn more and feel free to reach out to us with any questions at education@philliesbridge.org.
We offer:
After school enrichment programs for elementary school children: Our after school programs offer different themes every season. Check out our after school page to learn more and sign up today! Busing is available from New Paltz Schools.
Summer Camp & Nature Nursery Camp: Check out our camp page to learn more about our very popular summer programs! We have something for everyone, starting with our Nature Nursery morning program for 3 & 4 year-olds, our STEAM camp for your elementary and middle school children, and volunteer opportunities for your teen!
Hands-on Workshops & Classes for Adults and Families: workshops such as flower growing, soil blocking, vermicomposting, botanical dying, small space gardening, and more! Check out our page for upcoming workshops. Most of our adult workshops are family friendly!
Field Trips for school-aged children and higher education institutions: Contact our education director at education@philliesbridge.org for more information to set up your field trip today! We can host elementary schools with one of our popular themes found on our field trips page, or we can create a tour for your higher education students depending on the topic you are studying.
Apprenticeships for aspiring farmers: One of the pillars of the Phillies Bridge mission is education, and as such we are here to help others learn sustainable farming practices. If you are an aspiring farmer, please see our apprenticeship page! The apprentice program is full for the 2024 season, but we are always accepting new applications!
*Group tours are available by request
